Despite persistant rumors and reports over the weekend that Lesnar and the WWE had come to an agreement for him to return to professional wrestling, Lesnar did not make an appearance at Sunday's Wrestlemania 28 event.
He was rumored to potentially involve himself in either the Triple H vs. Undertaker match, or the main event between John Cena and The Rock, but both came and went without him.
That will surely lead to more views on Monday night for WWE's flagship program Raw, as Lesnar may return for the first time in eight years to set up his path for the next year.
Penick's Analysis: Whether he was legitimately in the plans for a return on tonight's Wrestlemania event, the WWE certainly benefited from the rumors, as there are likely many that tuned in out of curiosity over his return. Since he was rumored to be in Miami on Sunday, as well as backstage at the show, he may simply be making his return tomorrow night. I guess fans can only tune in to find out.
