UFC 142 adds Stanislav Nedkov vs. Fabio Maldonado to Brazil card

A light-heavyweight bout between Bulgarian fighter Stanislav Nedkov and Brazil's Fabio Maldonado has been added to January's UFC 142 event.

The UFC's Brazil division today announced the fight via Twitter. Although reports also have suggested Maldonado may instead fight Luiz Cane, UFC officials today confirmed with MMAjunkie.com that Nedkov vs. Maldonado is the fight.

UFC 142 takes place Jan. 14 at Rio de Janeiro's HSBC Arena.
