Champ Dominick Cruz defends title against Demetrious Johnson at UFC on Versus 6

UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz has "Mighty Mouse" on the horizon.

MMAjunkie.com has confirmed that Cruz will take on top contender Demetrious Johnson at October's UFC on Versus 6 event. The matchup was first reported by NBCSports.com.

UFC on Versus 6 takes place Oct. 1 at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The evening's main card airs on Versus.
